As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar PV Roofer to join our expert Solar Installation Team.
As a Solar PV Roofer with Tag Renewables Ltd, you will be instrumental in the delivery of high-quality solar PV installations. You will work alongside our experienced solar engineers to ensure rooftops are properly prepared and solar systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Roof Preparation: Assess and prepare rooftops for solar installations, including repairs, cleaning, and structural support.
- Installation Support: Install solar panel mounting systems in line with specifications and engineering drawings.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Carry out maintenance and repair work on roofing systems to support long-term performance of solar installations.
- Health & Safety: Maintain high safety standards on-site, following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the installation team to deliver projects on time and meet quality standards.
- Client Interaction: Represent Tag Renewables professionally when engaging with clients, providing clear communication and support.
- Site Documentation: Record materials used, work completed, and site conditions accurately for project records.
Requirements:
- Experience as a roofer with knowledge of roofing systems and safe working practices.
- Experience supporting or working within solar PV installation teams is highly desirable.
- CSCS and DBS checks are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Confident using roofing tools and working at height.
- Ability to read and interpret installation diagrams and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot site challenges.
- Team player with good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to various sites as required.
- Roofing qualifications or certifications are a plus.
